Michael Zirulnik

Michael Zirulnik is a research associate at CSPO (The Consortium for Science, Policy & Outcomes) and a doctoral candidate at Arizona State University’s Hugh Downs School of Human Communication. He also is a lecturer at Fairleigh Dickinson University and works on labor resolution as well as national security initiatives in New York and Washington D.C. All of this is in addition to his passion for travel, working as an international flight attendant where he is based in the San Francisco bay area.

Michael earned a B.Sc. with a double major in communication and applied physics from Rutgers University. He remained at Rutgers to attend graduate school, earning a Masters in communication & information studies with a focus on organizational communication and information systems. Michael is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Arizona State University with an emphasis on intercultural communication within organizations and conflict management.

Professionally, Michael began the first seven years of his career in the emergency medical and fire service. He is also the owner of a boutique design firm with operations based in New Jersey and New York City. His aspirations are to continue teaching and conducting application based research that positively impacts a broad spectrum of society.
